
To cancel a booking it is important to contact your area co-ordinator on 0845 612 6000 as soon as possible.
We understand that from time to time you may need to cancel, at short notice, a booking that you have made - however before cancelling a booking please read carefully the section below.
Please note: Some pharmacies have slightly different terms which you can check on the booking detail page.

In the event of a locum cancelling a booking an alternative Locum will need to be found to cover that booking. PPLS will always endeavour to cover the booking however, these 'emergency' bookings are sometimes negotiated at a higher rate and in such instances the Locum cancelling the booking will incur these extra costs.
In the circumstance of no alternative locum being found to cover the booking then the Locum who cancelled shall be requested to honour the booking.

In the event of the client cancelling a booking PPLS will always endeavour to secure the locum alternative work for the day in question, if however, we fail to find alternative work for the locum then they are entitled to claim 50% of the earnings they would have made undertaking that booking.
Please note: the Locum is only allowed to claim under the circumstances that no alternative work has been found for the cancelled date either by PPLS or the Locum themselves.
