The agency was set up in 1985 by Mark Koziol, a pharmacist himself and someone that has been dedicated to pharmacy and pharmacists throughout his career. He has since left the company to set up The Pharmacy Insurance Agency and most recently he has overseen the creation of the Pharmacists' Defence Association – an association dedicated to defending the reputation of individual pharmacists.
